SOME FAQ'S

Q: What does it cost to join the cruise?
A: The Western Canada PowerCruise is a FREE cruise, we do not charge for the registration. We figured there will be enough costs with fuel, hotel, and some meals that you don't need to pay us for anything, all of it has been sponsored or volunteer work. The Gas City Auto & Trade Show has a seperate registration and does cost $25+GST. We recommend you register early for this!

Q: What time do the cruisers leave?
A: The cruisers will leave the starting points and overnight stops at 9:00am SHARP! This allows enough time to travel the routes, stop and enjoy some places along the way as well as support those that are volunteering their time to make this cruise the awesome event that it is.

Q: What happens along route?
A: You can expect to stop at some businesses, and some clubs will be hosting events along the way with beverages, snacks, etc. There will be crusies, mini-shows, and musuem stops along routes. All routes are slightly different, and the 4 Tiers cover a large portion of the Western provinces, so there is a Tier Checkpoint near you. Many groups or clubs are hosting their own mini-cruises to end up a checkpoint to join in.

Q: What is happening in Medicine Hat?
A: The Gas City Auto & Trade Show hosted by the Something For Everyone crew (Medicine Hat's best event planner 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022!!). This event is something for everyone so bring your whole family as this is not just for the guys. Their sponsors Apex and Murray Chev are making sure that cruisers have a Send-Off Breakfast on the Sunday morning, there is Saturday evening enterainment at Ralph's Texas Bar and Steakhouse, a Friday Night Cruise with the local gear heads, and more things keep getting added on.

Also, recently Medicine Hat has announced the Medicine Hat Drag Racing Association will be hosting their National Open on July 14th to 16th as well. This means some amazing drag racing taking place at the same time and just a short 5 min drive from Co-op Place where the Gas City Auto & Trade Show is hosted.  So there is not a shortage of great things to take part in when the crusiers hit Medicine Hat.
